Based on a 17-hectare abandoned playground, Yancheng Zhonghan International Block is the first Korean style block in China that integrates entertainment facilities and consumption scenes.
The originally closed and managed playground was transformed into a large public space open to the city around it, and the existing lake body of the playground was used for reconstruction, creating a hydrophilic space with barrier-free access throughout the week around the water, and actively contributing to the comprehensive commercial development around the lake. The addition of the green base transforms the original gray playground into an ecological place that closely integrates parks and commercial blocks. We collect and purify rainwater runoff through a series of wetlands, and let the ecology do its work to maintain the crystal clear water quality of the lake area.
